Ill have to ask the mods if they can put something up in the first post, obviously after I compile everything. Im just trying to think of way to make this easier to read.

Morgan! Love you car! It's freakin' AWESOME! Can't wait for your next mods! Subscribed for more pictures!
So, let me get this straight, friendly banter (to which the OP CLEARLY doesn't object) results in targeting for lock and bans. Aren't there bigger fish to fry around here (cough...SSFTSX...cough)? Color me unimpressed

SSFTSX has some wild opinions...but, at least he's talking about the vehicle...I cannot censor that and send him packing no matter how obtuse his opinion is. Completely different than the crap I deleted recently in here.
You see a difference? Please say you do.

Now, as long as those videos weren't NSFW, they would probably have been fine in a Ramblings thread. But this is not a Ramblings thread. In Ramblings you can expect off the wall things like that. In Car Talk, not so much. I can understand the moderators frustration, and I can only assume the frustration is amplified when they see who started the thread

Tim, if you want to banter about general stuff, there are other threads for it. And clearly, with the direction this thread has taken recently, it is not just "friendly" banter and more silliness that does not belong in Car Talk.

I don't even remember if anything I posted got deleted. Generally speaking though, if a mod says stop. I do. (this post not withstanding, obviously).
What blew my mind was that prometheus thread...mod says stop with the name calling...and in the very next post Sarlacc calls Chad (Majarahad) a vag. And nothing is said about it but they do keep giving Chad a hard time for posting in that thread. That had me scratching my head.

Just to bring the teaser to this page:
![](http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b378/civicdrivr/2013%20Scion%20FRS/2012-09-20/IMG_20120921_103524_zps9b1ff00a.jpg)
So far, just in front of my house.![Bored](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/bored.gif)
The dock I wanted to go was blocked off, and I've been trying to find a secluded boat ramp/dock to take pics in but Im not having luck. Most of them are on private property.
On my way home from work this evening I will be looking for another place to take pics, just for a change of scenery. Unfortunately, where I am, theres nothing be trees for a backdrop. At least in NY I could go to the beach, parks, industrial areas....![Bored](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/bored.gif)
Though there is one area that I really want to take a picture in, while the sun is setting. But to set it up the way I want to, I'd have to park the car in the middle of the street and block off traffic. At sunset, theres a decent amount of traffic on that road, and its a 55mph zone.
Keep that up and Ill withhold pics until next Tuesday

I dont know what thread you guys are referring to, but please don't discuss it in here.
I haven't done any crazy mods yet ![Tomato](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/tomato.gif)
With the tune, there is more midrange power. The higher redline helps acceleration as well, as I don't have to shift to 3rd before 60 now. The car shouldve been sold with this tune from the factory. Some people have seen better gas mileage, but I don't drive it like a grandpa so my combined mileage is hovering around 27mpg.
In a few weeks Ill be switching from an MAF based tune to a speed density tune, so that should help things as well. I need to do some data logging before making the jump though.

Morgan, WOW, gorgeous. Well, you know more about picture taking than me, but you should have just turned the car around on that road to get the sun off the rear, no? I know i have to plan timing of the day and where i can find some shade to get decent shots of my car.
Believe it or not, aside from driving chill to save gas, I've noticed that with my bolt ons, I've managed to get a staggering 3 more mpg on average. Awesome, more fun to drive, fun to hear and better gas mileage!

Looking awesome dude! Love the look of the new exhaust. So much more aggressive without being too tunerish. If you send me the photos of the rear that you could save. I'm a graphic designer so I'm working in Photoshop everyday. I can likely adjust them enough to make them presentable.

I noticed the same thing in my CL when I started adding bolt ons - my fuel consumption decreased. I just got so used to the power from the CL that Im constantly pushing the FR-S hard to try to do the same things. Im sure if I drove like a sane person I could raise the MPGs, but its just too fun.

I went to Cars and Coffee this morning, met up with a few people, and had a good time. They meet every two weeks and they alternate the location, this week was the smaller lot. There were 2 BRZs and 1 FR-S, all three were white. Only one other was modded. He had the Nameless exhaust (which looked great), springs, and I believe he has a tune as well. I walked to one end of the lot and when I came back he was gone. I really wanted to hear his exhaust.

What's cold idle rpm?
I love how the car doesn't start particularly fast, but the sound of it sparking is

A whopping 1500rpm ![what](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/what.gif)
Then it drops to ~1100, then settles in around 700rpm once warmed up. Its really loud on cold starts due to the valve overlap.
