Well I sold my Honda Saturday, thus marking my first tangible step toward BMW ownership. I think I am going to wait until spring to order mine so I can save up as much money as possible for a down payment. I sold it to Carmax for $17k (needed to get rid of it quickly before the next payment) and after taking care of some credit card debt I came out with $1200 to add to my savings (up to about $4k so far). I figure I should have somewhere around $20-25k by May which should make for a manageable car payment. Anyway, just thought I would share.

 

Be sure to budget a factory extended warranty into that BMW purchase; MANDITORY if you plan to keep it past the standard warranty period.
