Chrome Wheels still stylish?

Just curious if its just me or Chrome wheels gone! I have a set that I'm trying to get rid of and no buyers. Whats up with that?

Depends on the wheels, depends on the car.

Post pics of the wheels you're trying to sell.

Seriously though... they've kind of been phased out. But as Moog alluded to... some vehicles can get away with it. Not many though...

There still are and always will be chrome fans. That's why companies like Asanti are still in business and doing rather well. Nowadays most manufacturers put a spin on chrome by two-toning and adding colors, etc. But chrome will always be a major part of wheel sales in America. I'm in the industry.

Personally, not a fan.
They sure seem to have their place on trucks around here though. Even if it's chromed plastic: ie Chevrolet 20" factory wheels

Yes, pick the biggest size you think will look good and add 2 inches. More surface area the better unless you are going 2 spoke, assassin style

Nothing wrong with chrome, its all about personal taste. Do it if you like it. My next set of wheels will be polished which is similar to chrome finish.

The wheel above would suck regardless what finish was on it.

Gotta be honest. I like chrome better than flat black wheels.

Like the saying goes, "There's a sucker born every minute."

Car is nice. But the wheels do absolutely nothing for me.

I generally am NOT a fan of chrome...at all.

But they work really well on my Challenger...and funny enough they work well on my Highlander with the chrome side steps (leased it that way.)

But usually...I dont like chrome at all...funny how it works.
