Chrome rims coating and floor kit color mismatch?

I'm thinking of getting a floor kit for my car. I have had it for 2 years since i got it new, yet i am afraid that there will be a color mismatch due to some fading i guess. I would hate to drop the money and then be discontent with the product. Does anyone have any similar situation wheres they have seen the outcome or any other comments?

I was wondering if anyone knew if something like getting your stock rims done with a chrome over coating was possible and if it looked good...

Thanks everyone!

you can chrome dip any metal. It usally looks good, if the wheel looks good. (dont waste the money on stocks. no worth it imho.) no idea what a floor kit is so i couldnt tell ya. but chrome doesnt really fade if taken care of

Not sure how much luck you'll have on here with this. People here for the most part find chrome to be tacky and stupid.

I'd agree though that the stock wheels probably won't look very good with chrome on them

Floor kit like the a-spec kit for instance.

I'm not sure, I'm just looking for something to make the wheels stand out a bit more but I really dont have the money right now to get new wheels. Any suggestions?

Ground effects kits...

You can get wheels powder coated in chrome now... There's a couple of old threads by Dave (rip) over on the CL forum:
