check out this car I saw in the parking lot of my work today...
one of my all time favorite cars The guy got out and I said to him "NICE CAR!!" and he just kinda went "meh" ...told me that he tried selling it once for like $30k and it only has 25k miles!!! and NO takers!!! well, I guess some people kept trying to bargain down, so he just decided to keep it... I love it... I check'd it out and saw NO dings at all!!! BOY! If I had the money... (the wheels would be the first go to tho).
*sorry for the cheap camera phone pics

I've always loved those, too. I've heard about the issues as well. Probably a great weekend car at best but still, beautiful lines IMO. Those wheels are though. Oh, and the 12 cylinder is the only way I'd go to. It's crazy how a nearly $100k car now can't even fetch $30k with only 25k miles on it though.

If it was the V-12 TT then my computer screen would be glazed in drool, those V-12 beasts are extraordinarily rare and not to mention powerful. I think they produced 500HP and 550LB torque, or something to that extent, maybe less. However they need more maintenance than a Ferarri.

and in 850 csi trim I think it still only made 380 hp.
There was a m8 with that kind of power, but they only made one prototype
My uncle has had a 96 840 as a daily driver for 4 years now, other than locking him out, and sometimes in now and then it hasn't been too much trouble.
The v8 was a fairly reliable engine after the whole nikasil thing.

That reminds me I saw a minty-fresh clean F430 Spider on the freeway today. I gave him a thumbs-up and when he passed by he glanced at me and my car just emotionless.
He was probably thinking, "hah... silly mortal"

j/k but seriously, that's why I choose not to acknowledge rich people and their fancy cars...

A friend of mine has one he bought for sale...He overpaid in buying it, he poured a shitload of money to make it "like new" and now after driving it for a year is looking to sell it...

Like others have said, nice looking and it has cache because it's rare. But the interior is not what I would like. And they were never know to be reliable. A weekend car is about right.
