So you removed your old radiator without having a new one ready to put in?

why didn't you order the radiator and bring it home before you ripped out the old one?

the reason i didn't order it prior to tearing it out was my only day off was Sunday so I wanted to make sure it was the radiator was bad. I didn't want to order it and be something else wrong. The new one comes in today or Tues. so probably Sunday I'll have it road ready again.

i semi agree - shouldn't take 3 hours to pull it out. How do I know - I have a 5G accord beater like you do and also changed out my radiator last November. Taking it out wasn't THAT hard, maybe 30minutes tops and it was my first time.

Now putting it on... that was a different story since I had a hell of a time getting the clamps on the hoses back on - specially the ones for the ATF.

Did your radator have dirty green water in it too? Thank God I got rid of that stuff before it gave me any problems.

I don't know what year your accord is, but I've had to change it on a 93 and 95 accord, and it wasn't hard at all. We didn't even have to use a lift

Thats actually pretty smart. In my old TT Supra it was leaking coolant. I wasnt 100 percent sure it was the radiator so I pulled it first...sure enough a fucking rock made its way through the entire thing.

dude you've never been on a farm so you don't know what your talking about . farmers usually do 95% to 99% of all the repairs to machinery. most cars work i do myself(unless it's something advanced like a Mercedes or BMW which has more computers than a NASA space shuttle) since my brother in law got his newer(not brand new 530) i don't mess with it cause it's so advanced. but Hondas,Toyotas,Chevys,Fords, most run of the mill cars i can fix.
did you forget I worked at Honda as a Honda certified mechanic plus my CRX i did all the mods myself including a engine swap.
