im 20 with 3 speeding tickets. $310/month for my CLS...full coverage including collision and liability and such. what pisses me off is that we have to pay more to be insured against people that don't have insurance.

shit, I just found out how much my insurance is ...

I'm 18, clean record, and its $1408/6months, so $2816/year, full coverage. I thought it would be like in the high 3000's so I was pretty happy lol.

Three of these cars - the Jaguar, the A8, and the NSX - use a lot of aluminum in the body structure. I wouldn't expect most body shops to be able repair aluminum satisfactorily if the car wasn't totaled either. The welds are supposed to be very difficult to make and aluminum loses it's structural rigidity a lot faster & easier than steel. That's something to think about before buying one of these cars.

The higher the cost of the car usually means higher insurance premiums.

CLS 6spd - $1800
79 VW Camper - $900 (MSRP was about $9.5K back in 1979)

I'm in Taxachusetts, where the rates are regulated. Full coverage on both, $500 deduct (glass is free in MA tho'), liability is upped over basic 'cause I own a house, and I've still got a couple of unsafe points from my DUI days. Oh, I've got my homeowners and auto insurance under the same carrier, so there's a little dicount on that.

The more cars you have insured, the cheaper it gets with my ins. co. (mulitcar discounts).

not only that but why is the CLK put on the list and the SL is not ???WtF

the SC430 is targeted to the older crowd I really dont see people speeding in the car and its not really stolen...also Mercedes is the hardest car to steal so theft cant be up there. Laser cut keys makes the Benz virtually impossible to steal .... they are not even considered sports cars whats with the #1 slot maybe the SL but a Coupe...makes no sense
