It's all relative.........but I'm going to say no, cars at that price range are at a diminishing return.

Very hot car, but worth $500k+ after tax? Not imho.

I'd rather buy a 360 Modena and a Murcielago Barchetta for that price.

at the price points of most of these supercars, they aren't really worth it IMO, but if you can consider buying this car, then you shouldn't worry about $$.

I'd rather have the Ford GT though. Almost the same performance and many times less expensive. I could buy 2 Ferrari 430's for the $$ I save.

Like other's say, probably not 'worth' the cost (is any car?). But I'd suspect that if your in the market for any car above $200K, then things like cost and value are of little issue. It's not like the owners of these cars are worried if they'll have enough to make a payment each month.

Imagine the insurance premium for some of these supercars. I'm sure it exceeds many folks mortgage payments.

I was looking at some real estate prices in a certain area the other day. There were some large estates selling for $16M and $15M (a bit out of my price range). But it made me think -- does someone in the market for a $16M home haggle the price?
Buyer: "Hmmm. $16M for this piece of crap. It's not worth a penny over $14.5M!"
Seller: "OK, I'll discount $1M and give it to you for $15M."
Buyer: "OK. $14.7M."
Seller: "Cannot do it. I cannot go below $14.9M. Are you trying to take food out of my children's mouth!?"

compared to the other cars at the its price, yes i would buy it. It was the fastest car ever i think on topgear. Also the exhust note is just beutiful. If it were up to me to spend some money like that i would get that car or my all time favorite 1989 ferrari f40.

I don't think you could handle either one of those cars. The pro driver on TG spun out nine out of ten times.

Data shows that the avg person who buys one of these exotics has enough wealth where this purchase is equal to buying an $18 shirt for the average American.
