Basically if you upgrade to the basic BTTF car you can use blue coins to go forward in time to finish off your jobs right away. You can use plutonium or lightning to go backward in time to get jobs that you didn't collect. If you get the mr fusion upgrade, you can use garbage to back in time. Lightning requires 3 perfect shifts, garbage and plutonium only require 2 perfect shifts. I don't remember if you have to use lightning et all to go forward in addition to blue coins.

 

ive done perfects shifts to go back and save my jobs, but nothing happens after im done. do your work bays need to be empty?

 

If you have jobs that you didn't collect that have the "X" in them. let them sit there, go back in time, and the red "X"s will turn into coins again so that you can click on them to collect them.

 

ohh, so the x has to be on the job? ive been pretty good at collecting, its been a couple months since ive forgotten. i has thinking those were the ones you can save.

maybe after this round of jobs is done, ill wait to collect the current, do btf, and see if they pop back up

 

Yup, the job has to have gone past the point allowing you to collect it in order for you to go back in time to reset it's collection status.

Technically it is all lost jobs from that point forward as long as you don't foul up on the shifts and lose more money than you'd gain by going back in time to recollect those jobs.
