car paint dilema

A while back, i crashed my '03 accord into some road ice, and clipped my front bumper. My deductable is $500, and I felt like I could just change my bumper, and have it painted black. I ordered a new bumper($199), and my local macco wants $250 to paint it. do you guys know of any other cheaper paint service in the chicagoland area?

DONT GO TO MACCO. Im a painter. You get what you pay for. a full rear bumper shoot should cost about $150-$225. Macco sucks dick. they wont even come close to matching the paint, fixing runs, or fisheyes etc.

ive seen some good Maaco paint jobs. my former supervisor had his daughters jetta repainted in honda NBP and it looked just as good as my accords NBP. it cost him $1200(this was 5-6 yrs ago) at Maaco and that included fixing any dings/dents and prepping, etc.

Paint and cheap should not go into the same sentence. Remember you get what you pay for. I would rather spend a little more and make sure the paint matches and will last, than cut a few dollars off the job and risk having it not match and flake off

I'd rather use a spray can than go to macco.
