Car Names REDUX!
Before I get flamed, and my newly-gained green REP gets "red-barred" and the "BANBOTS" come for my ass...
Please tell me the names of your cars.
I know there are probably a baker's dozen of these threads, but I figure no one wants to read 20 pages of insanity to see who the current members cars are.
My CL is called MISTRESS because she is the only "other" woman in my life.
If my wife and I argue, the worst I will do is sleep "in" my Mistress rather than "with" her.
In almost five years of marriage, three in ownership of my CL, I've not ever had to resort to sleeping in the dog house, on the couch or in my Mistress.
Her license tag "MISTRSS" has actually been a saving point in a bad situation. If not for that tag... Two "older" women in a pickup would have never gave me four quarters when I found myself without change at a toll exit.
Long story.
get it... GOOD!

I don't really name my cars...The only one with a name is my xB, which I either call the xBox, or the shitbox....My wife's BMW is called "my wife's BMW", and my S2k is called "my S2k"

so I should call mine a "my tsx". hahahaha.
but agree with you. I dont give name to my car. :ghey:
I call my 03 accord coupe "The Accident", let me explain.
First T-bone - While I was driving, crazy bitch Cavalier decided to hit my driver side. Her explanation was "I could not see the incoming car because this big snow pale was blocking my view, soooo I waited 5 minutes and I just went for it."(Her fault).
Second T-bone - My friend was driving it in Chicago and a Taxi van came out of a One way(the wrong direction) and hits my car on the driver side(His fault).
Hit and run - Came outside and saw broken passenger side Taillight, bumper, rear quarter panel (? fault).
"Got Penned" - 4 year old brother at the time thought it would be fun to "draw" pictures on my 2 week old car with a ball point pen. Buffed it off pretty good but you can see the marks if you look very closely.
Hydro lock -
What the hell was I thinking, I have an AEM CAI needed to get through this one street but it was kinda flooded...ok it was pretty damn flooded. Half way through the car dies, towed to home and 5 oil changes and two weeks of drying later the cars back alive. (
)
Passenger Quarter panel - Tried to squeeze pass my dads Forerunner, didn’t go too well. (
)
Also.... 2 visits for tranny problems before 5000 miles.
Passenger headlight replaced, found out today(2-3 years later) the dealershit forgot to put the headlight gaskets in. That would explain the fogging and dirt, but I finally blacked out my headlights and it looks awesome
. Whole center console needed replacement 50 miles after the warranty was over, the dealershit offer to pay 50 percent of the cost. 2 weeks and a few calls to Honda of America later the consoles fixed, drove around those 2 weeks with a pitch black center console.
I am sure there are other things but I can’t remember the rest right now. I had two beaters before the Accord, 93 Corolla and 95 Sentra. Both filthy rusted cars, with no accidents or the bad luck. Have not ran into any problems with my TL yet thank God
. Still love my Accord after all this because it’s my first new car and I hate to sell it now, plus the Carfax report don’t look too pretty. Haven’t had a problem since the 40K mark, the car just passed 70K. Sorry for the long post....just thought I share.

When I first got her, I named her Aggie. However, after I started modding her, I changed the name to Cyclone Blue. It felt more aggressive. And it stuck, so...

What, no good stories? This one can test everyone's ability to use their words not their rapier wit.
I'll go read the LOST thread.
