Car Insurance!
Good day Guys Im Quintin Williams,
Last week I traded in my truck for a car, I figured that no only would I save on gas but I would save on insurance as well. My truck was a 2002 F150 4X4 and the car I got was a Mitsubishi Galant. Much to my surprise when I called the insurance company they told me it would cost more to insure! I guess they consider this car a luxury car! How much BS is that?? I have been surfing the net for good insurance, i came into http://www.insurancepaylite.com has anyone tried online insurance? how effective is the online quote system? can i depend my money on this? or can anyone tell me a good insurance company to check out that may be cheaper or won't consider a Galant a luxury car? Thank you in advance.

did they physically tell you they considered it a luxury car? Because I would highly doubt an insurance company would consider a Galant a luxury car... I have a 1st gen cl and I don't even know if they consider my car a luxury car and we're all acura's on here, honda's high-end luxury company...

What year is the Galant? Some cars are more for insurance because of age. My 94 Explorer costs more to insure then my 03 CLS.
Also online is a good guidline. However you need to call to get the accurate price. Insurance co's now have something called insurance scores. Just like a credit score. They take into account your credit & other factors. Most online quotes don't take these into account for a quote. Hence why people complain when they see a online quote & the policy winds up being more, or less then what was quoted.
