HAHA im in the same boat as you, but i have a '06 TSX. When i go to college, its gonna be the '94 Camry all the way over hahaha. I'm not prepared to get so much as a ding on my TSX . The camry is cheap to insure too, and you can get the TL rated on your parents, but since your in the family, it allows you to drive the car.
The TL is a beautiful thing, DONT PUT SO MUCH AS A SCRATCH ON IT!

My prelude didnt get too mmuch trouble as college... but it didn't get into too much trouble. Just stay away from exhausts and showy body parts until you can afford your own apartment and/or a car cover. keep it very incognito.

I was just in my parking lot at school today and I parked next to a Jetta, but one of those higher model one's (not base). The molding on the side of the car was all dinged bad. It was bent up in the one part of it too. I am not going to jump to conclusions, but I think I'd put money on it that someone at school hit it with their door. I see it happening a lot, so make sure you can live with dings, ect.

Ehh I would definitely not take an 06 TL to college.
It doesent matter if you drive a Kia or a Range Rover, any car at college is bound to get fucked up one way or another.

I have an 02 TL-S here at school, and the sides are so dinged and scratched its rediculous. Even today i found a crumpled up water bottle on my trunk. My car is not garaged here, so its dirty all the time, and I'd rather spend my money on beer instead of a weekly car wash. Having the TL outside and at college is not the ideal environment for it.(it deserves better) When I'm done with school it will be interesting to see what else has happened to it.

Anyways, if you do take the 06 TL to school, you should walk instead of commute to campus.
