used acura TL, there are a few in the black maret, one for around 18k, one for 22 and one for 25k. Also try a used TSX or used accord.

$25k will get you a lot of options from an e46 330i to a Honda Accord Hybrid.

I'd look at a TL, a TSX, or a G35.

What about the 2005 RL?

Go to ebay and search for RL, and you will find a few 2005+ RLs going for a bit over $25k (Buy it Now price @ $25850).

Daily driver? Well, for a daily driver, I'd want something that would coddle and sooth for the long, nasty commutes. With that, I'd pick up a pre-owned Lexus LS430. There are quite a few floating around on Ebay that fit your price range (if not, a tad over).

The LS gets decent gas mileage, is incredibly luxurious, and extremely reliable.

for 25K that could almost be a new TSX. Since the 08s are coming in you could probably get an 07 TSX with about 1k on it for about 25k. Relieable and awesome gas mileage.

i vote BMW:
for that kind of change depends if you want all wheel drive.
you can get into a 04 330XI with only 35k on her for 25 grand.

or if don't want all wheel drive you can get a 03 330I w/sport package and 42,000 on her for 25 grand

I would suggest the Accord, but after seeing pics of the new one, and ALMOST buying a current Accord, I'm glad I didn't.

I always knew they weren't the hottest sedans to look at, but compared to the new ones in the spy pics we've seen so far, gosh the current crop is terribly boring to look at...

I assure the S60R auto will still be faster than just any sedans at $25k... (maybe not the Subaru Legacy GT)

...and yes, I have driven it before. I almost bought one before deciding on the FX45

I'd be in one now if I could stomach the interior...

Went with my dad to the Toyota dealer last week to look at a '07 Camry LE V6. 268HP and a 6-speed Auto. They wanted $21k + TTL for it.

Man that thing is FAST! Punch it, 40-60 is pretty much instant.

But the rest of the car is shit...let's just say that.

do they have a model with better interior? I think the model with the aero kit looks pretty cool, but have yet to see one with wheels/springs...

Probably the XLE or SE have better interiors, but I didn't look at them.

BTW, the handling sucks. My 96 SL2 handles much better than it, though I am running highly inflated Michelin Hydroedge tires on my car, so that might help with handling.

yeah, the model I was talking about (with the aero kit) definitely looks like it can use some lowering springs (well, and wheels too)

BUMP..

interesting...

well i wouldnt get a ls430, too big for my taste and i see my dad driving something like that more than i do.

I'm only 24 and want something a bit more grown up, but still sporty. You guys know what i mean? I dont plan on doing any kind of racing, but sometimes want to drive more free spirited. I dont really plan on modding it, the biggest thing i would do is probably get rims or stereo stuff.

To all the peoples who suggested the bmw 330i; i dont know, the interior of the cars just dont do it for me (i think the tl and tsx interiors are sexy...especially in parchment). Been in a couple but never drove one. How does it drive compared to a tl or tsx?

Audi A6 2.7T... the engine is fantastic and if you get it newer then 01 the oil feed lines to the turbo's are bigger.

you can probably find an S-Line trim for that price tag

nissan altima 3.5se. You can get a brand new one with cloth for that price. I have one of those but with the premium package and it is a good blend of practicality and sport.

I negotiated my 2007 Accord V6 EX-L w/navi to $26k (exc. TTL). I imagine a non-Navi should fully meet all of the above requirements. With the 2008 model due next month, you might even be able to secure a Navi V6 model for <$25k in September. (Up until recently, my dealership had a couple of loaded new 06 models on the lot.)

Stang's suggestion of the GLI is also an idea. It is a tight sedan that stickers similar to a loaded AV6....although it will not have the same discounts due to its low production/relatively high popularity.

Don't buy the Dub unless you're planning on keeping it for only during the warranty period.

See the other thread were G=Lease and J=Buy

For $25k you could probably find a lot of good values but I think that after seeing the '08 Accord I'd rather have that with less options than others that are loaded. That interior is just awesome.

if you needed AWD I would say Legacy GT hands down. Mazda speed3 would be a good choice for AZ.
