Found this survey in the Toronto Star newspapers on Saturday. The survey respondents were all immigrants in Canada. Since there are a lot of visible minorities, including myself, in these three cities, this survey was done to understand the market better.

A recent survey in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver asked, "If you were buying a new car today, what brand of vehicle would you be most likely to buy based on what you know now about their quality and features?"

Chinese:

South Asian:

Newspaper surveys aren't terribly reliable in terms of statistical significance, but I have no doubts that Toyota is tops for these people.
