Is there any way I can beat 04 TL auto & 05 G35 manual? (normal drivers, stock)
My friend has 04 TL auto and the other one's gonna get 05 G35 manual.
Is there any way I can beat them with AEM CAI, Yokohama Parada II tires, and Comptech headers? I have 01 CLS.

 

01 CL-S w/ Headers and CAI will for sure beat the TL auto, given equal driver skill. You're 300-ish crank HP while he's at 270, very similar platforms & transmissions.

The _05_ G35 Manny, however, will be tough to compete with, without more modding. 295 hp, if I recall correctly, and the 6MT will put a lot more power down to the ground via RWD vs. your FWD.

Sadly, for you, the next step up seems like the costly Comptech Supercharger. Good luck.

Invest in a unichip and pulleys (or boost) to really take the G35

04 tl can have intake and you can be stock and youll beat it . the g35 you will lose if he can drive

 

i think u should take the g if hes a avg driver

 

The TL is not going to cut it. You got more him beat. The G may give you a run for your money, but you have a chance if he can't drive that well. Both are about the same power and weight.
