rwd vs. fwd... comparably equipped, the caddy will be much higher than the TL and TSX in price. if you want bang for your buck the TL is a better way to go...

While I agree, the 335 is over $10k more than the CTS...so hard to compare. I bought my CTS-V for $45k. That's more like the 335 price.

ive driven a few CTS and i really liked them. They are nice cars, handle good, good mileage, lots of room inside.

i'll admit the 335 or any BMW almost for that matter is kind of pricey. However there's 2 things #1. resale value . the resale value on the 335xi or 335i gonna be greater than a CTS or a CTS-V #2. build quality. yes i'll admit german wiring/electronics are it's weak spot. however no company has 100% spotless record. but overall I believe BMW's quality and build reputation is stronger than the CTS or CTS-V.
keep in mind Seattle i'm not making fun of your choice to go with the CTS.but just if i had the extra 10 grand it would be a no brainer for me.

What year CTS??

The first-gen (present) CTS had plain interiors and below-par reliability (bordering on horrendous, IIRC) per Consumer Reports. The CTS got a new optional 3.6 V6 w/255 HP or so in about 2005; otherwise the standard small V-6 wasn't very quick. I love the exterior of the present CTS, but the interior was quite off-putting compared to the TL and TSX. The CTS's dependability record excluded it from consideration when I was shopping in 2005.

The 2nd gen (2008) CTS has a better interior, but weighs close to 4000 lbs and will need every one of the available 300 HP from its optional V6 (and its base 255 HP V6; the previous base V-6 w/210 HP or so has been dropped). The new CTS has a more bloated exterior look compared to the 1st gen.
