oops... you know, I was wondering about whether there were any legal ramifications with posting a video like this on a public site... I mean, think about it. This is kinda not what the public should be able to see.

I think the public has a right to see the video. Unless its classified top secret or something I dont see anything bad about it.

Don't you think there are things police officers know about and/or are trained on that the public is not supposed to know about? Not saying this is one of those, but I do think there is informaton privy to da Police.

But the police are supposed to enforce rules that everyone is supposed to be aware of. I would argue that this video brings attention to those who might not be aware that everything they do to their car is illegal. Yes you can find out by reading the CVC (boring) but I think watching this video would benefit both the driver and the police.

When MTV aired their True Life: Im a street racer, it showed police doing pretty much exactly the same thing. They were pulling over cars, measuring the height of the head lights off the ground, looking at engine modifications. I think the videos would go a good job to increase public awareness about legal and illegal modifications.

I do also agree that some information is for police eyes only, such as information dealing with prisoners, suspects, personal information, etc

ok - I agree with you on that - the public should know about what modifications can be deemed "illegal" in the eyes of police..
