Very nice. I agree the ass could be prettier, but overall very impressive.

In any case, that car is F-in sick. I wish they had made it more distinctive like the E46 M3 was. But meh, I'll live, great car! I like everything about it, I think the rear looks fine.

you honestly think the bottom part of the rear bumper looks nice? I don't think it flows well at all, like they just did that to make it more aggressive looking somehow.

M3 looks awesome, just not the rear.

btw, in those real pics, is it me or is there some crazy wheel gap, not sure if that's intended for transport or if thats how the car actually is.

 

They have the shipping blocks still on them.

 

Guilty as charged, but I'll be the first one to admit when something sucks. For ex. I think the QX is the ugliest POS, and the M has freaking huge tail lights, and it does look very tall from some angles.

No hate on the M3, just saying that if the bottom portion of the rear bumper was on any other car people would be crying saying how ricey it is.

Again, I love this new M3 just as much as the next guy, but I hate the rear. That's all.

I agree, the rear bumper is ugly and the front needs a splitter. The side mirrors and hood bulge are kind of an eyesore also. Think the styling will work better on the E90 M3.

Absolutely no way I would pay $65k+ for an E92 M3.

 

The good news is soon there will be an M3 rep spoiler for me.

Looks are subjective, but I think the rear looks fantastic. I do agree the front needs a splitter though, but this car is a BEAUT!

edit: Oh, and is it just me or are these wheels INFINITELY better than the wheels in the mag? In the mag, not only do they look ridiculously small, but I'm not diggin' the style as opposed to the newer pics.

 

The magazine has standard 18" wheels, the ones in the real photos are upgraded 19s.

Actually there seems to be a number of people doing the reverse...the 135i will be lighter, probably more fun to drive, easy mods for more power, and a shit load cheaper.

Doesn't handle as well? For the $ saved, do a suspension.

Neither is gorgeous imo, so that point is subjective and moot.

 

omg that white one on the truck looks AMAAAAZING...the wheels on those m3's look 100x better than the ones from the mag!!

 

lol I kid I kid...As you may have seen in the 1ser. threads, I'm head over heels for the 135i. Either way, they're both great cars IMO.

//M cars are typically pre-sold for the first year to year and a half. Especially the M3.

x100!! The E92's style had not grown on me much.....that is until I saw the pics posted by CS. Stylewise, the E92 M3 >>>>>> E46 M3.

Sidenote: This is making me very curious as to how Lexus will respond with regard to output on the IS500's 2UR-FSE.

but I just can't get over the advantage in torque the c63 amg offers over the m3. Would be interesting to see direct comparison between the two
