Buying a Honda Ruckus tomorrow

Well here she is:

80-90mpg, 1.3 gallon tank. I bought it for saving on gas and also just for fun. It gets up to 30mph and if I have a nice stretch of road it should get to just under 40mph. I dont have to register or title it which is pretty sweet because its 49cc. Im basically going to use it to get to school and work (which are the same place) since motorcycles/scooters get priority parking on campus.

I know its not the most pleasing thing to look at, but it sure as hell doesent look like one of those lame ass nerdy scooters......but its still a scooter which is a joke in itself.

Nice! I wouldn't mind riding that to work/school. I knew this guy who rode a purple nerd scooter for about a year, last time I saw him he was riding in a sportbike.

I ride a Yamaha Vino 125 during the spring and summer months. Scooters are great, tons of fun to ride.

Haha, Im a member of a couple Ruckus forums, and the funny thing is that they DO mod these things. They get Variators,Rollers,CDIs, Exhausts,Intakes. I dont know what half the shit they talk about is because i dont know much about engines, but its still funny that they mod scooters.

The one mod I will do is to put a Briggs & Stratton airfilter in because its less restrictive and im at high altitude.

Doesn't K&N claim to make filters for every application?

I bet they have one considering the Ruckus and Elite 80 are popular rides.

Not sure if there's that much out there for the ruckus...

Honda Ruckus > Honda Metropolitan

Lots of people are picking up small scooters for pit bikes, or for their motorhomes to cruise around the campgrounds...
