Well, I have 25k on my civic Si and still love it. Have your brother get over the dash and at least go test drive one. The Si is a huge bang for the buck. Did anyone see the June MT article for the best handling car in the US? The Si was grouped in with 9 other cars including the GT3, Exige, Evo, and Cayman S. The Si is a relatively rare car and is holding its value very well. The Mazdas are everywhere and I'm assuming are depreciating rather quickly.
