Brilliant Model Refresh
So I'm driving into work today and I see a new Ford Fusion "Sport"...I think to myself "Wow...great looking car".....then a couple of minutes later I see a previous model (before refresh) Fusion....and I think to myself (after seeing the updated model) "Now that's how you "refresh" a model mid-cycle".
Well done, Ford.

We rented three Ford Fusions on my wedding day to drive around for the wedding party...It was terrific.
Here's hoping the Mondeo comes soon?

Ford has done a pretty good job of making cars people would WANT to buy. And you do this with a nice exterior.
Kind of like picking the right woman. The first thing you see is the exterior. After a few test drives, you make your decision.

I actually like pretty much all of Ford's new designs...the Taurus SHO is sick. Love the Mondeo. Love the Edge.
Any chance of a Ford Cosworth coming?

I actually went to Fords website and priced a mustang, I haven't seriously driven one in a LONG time, but when I am shopping for a new rig I will probably consider it. It would be a nice change from what my last few cars have been.

I still can't believe the comments in this thread, or believe how I feel about Ford's recent lineup. If this were 10 years ago I sure as hell wouldn't have even cared for much in Ford's lineup beyond the Mustang, let alone considered anything else. I bet most of you feel the same.
Even though I'm a GM enthusiast and admire what GM has done with a lot of their cars, I feel like Ford has made the biggest leaps and bounds with regards to their lineup the past few years. And am I remembering correctly that Ford is planning to bring the Fiesta over to the US?

New Ford looks nice. Don't hold your breath for Acura doing this. Their cars won't look good until they come up with a new grill design (company-wide).
Oh and I agree with you Moog... Taurus SHO is pretty sweet...

I don't care what anybody says, Ford has built some damn good cars the past several years.
Remember the Contour SVT?
New Gen Mustang - Smash Hit, whether you love it or hate it.
Last Gen Taurus - Not fancy by any stretch, but absolutley Bullet Proof.
Current gen Taurus, Fusion - great family sedans.

New Fusion,
Actually, I didn't mind the entry version of the Fusion. It was a nice aside to all the other designs that Ford was putting out.
I'm liking the new SHO as well.

I always thought of the first Fusion as a ripoff of the 4th and 5th gen Preludes (headlights are 5th gen, tailights are 4th)...

Whats up with RDX owners?

Aside from the overly "blingy" grille its a very nice vehicle.
Ford has alot of nice vehicles in their lineup as of late.

I tell anyone who listens that if they are in the market for a family sedan to check out the Fusion and Accord.
IMO the Camry isn't as good as it used to be.

We noticed this with my friend's Evo X also... at times from a distance and at night, we've mistaken a Mazda 3 for an Evo X or at least a Lancer. I think msl82 has left his mark on a few people here
I will agree about the Camry though. Uhh, holy plastic? And this is coming from a Camaro owner. The new Camry interior is a step back a few generations.... hell even the 1992-1996 Camry interior doesn't seem as cheap.

The new Fusion is way nicer but to be fair you dont have the correct pic of the 1st gen fusion sport. The first Gen came with bigger wheels and darker grille and blacked out fog light housing

I've known this for quite some time. I really like the Fusion refresh. GM has really stepped up their game during those same years (although I still think Pontiac was a bonehead decision). It's good to see.

The Fusion is a great-looking car and appears to be reasonably reliable. I've never been a Ford guy but definitely have to give them props for this and the Taurus.
