Bought S550 P2

Just got back from the dealer with an 08 S550 P2 package. My friend which is a really good broker at Redline Auto leasing got me the car for 86 thousand. I think it is right at invoice if not lower..

The car is amazing. It isn't mine since I still have my 07 NBP TL-s but my dad and wow the car is silent but powerful.... Weighs 4200 but gets high 13's on a quarter mile. I think the E 550 with same engine but 100 pounds lighter got 13.5 so this can get something around there.

Silver with Black interior. Next stop Rims and Tints.. Pics will be up soon

ya lol you swear I drive a 90 thousand dollar car. But Im quite pleased with the deal we got. The car is at I think 94 MSRP.. and we got it for 86K. Premium 2 plus + camera in the back (the camera comes with premium 3... I know 90+ k car and it doesn't come standard with a camera.)

I need some ideas for rims guys if you can gimme any. My dad took the car so when he comes home ill take pics.. Also tint ideas..

Im thinking limo back but I dunno what to do in the front.. Don't really want the car to become a ticket magnet but we do want some tints on the front.. So limo back 35 front??

Factory Sport Rims > most ghetto shit out there...

20% or 35% tint all around. Different tint in front and back is and limo is too damn dark, not to mention a cop magnet.

And for the love of Christ, it's "tint", not "tints"

However, if a uniform look isn't what you're after and you feel that 20% isn't dark enough for the back, then a limo/35% would fit your needs...I'm just suggesting the same % all around for a cleaner look.

Too much of a shock. E550 weighs 580lbs. less than S550.

3,885 to 4,465.

i'd do 20% all around. I did 20% on my last car, and I liked it, but it had that completely clear glass. I think most cars have a little privacy tint to them already these days so maybe even 35% would be enough. Not to mention I try to stay legal if I can rather than unrolling my windows everytime I see a cop. 5% is too dark, especially for the rear windshield. I think it's just dangerous when in reverse at night.

WE WANT PICS!!!!!

I love the S550, look forward to purchase one maybe in the next couple of years. The technology in that car is simply insane.

What do you expect to see in the pics? A stock S550? You haven't seen one before?

And to the OP...Does 1/4 mile times really matter to you for a full size luxury car?

I expect to see a stock S550 in the pics. It's a big beautiful car so a few pictures wouldn't hurt. They would allow me to dream and fantasize a little more
