Well con't know what I was thinking but I bought another DSM to add to the stable. This is a 93' Eclipse GSX. Minus the ricer blue seat. Got some work to do on it before it is street ready but for the price I couldn't refuse.

Looks like fun. I'd lose that muffler too, it looks ridiculous.

Oh thats already planed. Going from the hideous 3" over done exhaust down to about 2.5" with a nice flowing but quiet muffler. Kinda like what I have on the 94'

They're pretty cool little cars. I had a 92 Talon AWD that I got down to the mid 13's in the quarter mile...basically stock except for breathing mods and upped boost but I had quite a bit of fun screwing around with that thing for awhile. Then I got sick of the whole scene and sold it.

Yeah they are fun. I like the fact that you can run lower e/ts and still get over 20 mpg.

Dirt cheap way to go fast Too bad they are a PITA to keep fixing. I dont remember which year 1G's can get crankwalk..

Ah the cranwalk myth. Hell not even 1percent probably got crankwalk. And if you don't use a extremly aggressive pressure plate you have nothing to worry about. An to answer you question the 92.5 up's recieved the 7 bolt engine. Both of mine have 6 bolts in them.
