No worries.

I checked briefly in my shop, and came up with a pair for my Expedition. I'll take another look in detail and PM you if I still have them. I remember I purchased them for a GT I had years ago and never installed them.

If I still have them, just take them. Put a few bucks towards an animal or cancer charity and we'll call it even.

Yeah these are pretty cool cars!
Didn't like them in the past but they're really growing on me. The fact that they way as much as a Civic Si does nowadays but have a 5.0V8 is pretty awesome. Not the fastest things in the world stock or even with a few bolt on. But its quick enough and the torque is probably awesome as the OP mentioned Theres a whole crew of these guys in my friends neighborhood

S2K retro in the mustang lights? That would be sick!

If I was going to do that, I'd just buy them blacked out... which is a possibility.

Nice choice man!!! I've wanted a fox coupe ever since I first saw and heard my uncles back in the mid 90's when I was a kid. There's just something about that sound from the 302 with off road h-pipe and flowmasters that gets you. Here's a youtube link to a guys car from a local mustang forum, such a sexy car.

Car looks nice, congrats.

I personally prefer the SN95 to the Foxbody, but to each his own.

I have had a 94 GT and my current 95 Cobra (both 5.0's) and both have been very fun and worth every dime.

My suggestion would be to do subframe connectors, full exhaust (long tube headers, offroad h/xpipe, and mufflers of choice) 3.73 gears, short throw shifter (i am partial to Steeda)and a rear end rebuild. Should run 13's pretty easily with decent tires, and be a helluva lot of fun on the street.

Dont mess with intake mods until you are ready to replace the intake manifold, then do heads, and then a cam, then a stroker kit, then a supercharger, then a stronger transmission. Did I miss anything? haha

Thats a nice setup. Mine is similar, just a lil less compression and a lil less cubic inches. Should be good for ~ 425rwhp/400rwtq.

Putting performance, preference and any other biases or comparisons aside, I've always felt that small block Fords, past and present, sounded better than comparable SBCs. And I love how Chevys sound.

I fell in love with the way my friend's silver 03 Termy sounded, and another one of my friends has a twin-turbo Foxbody which he built and tuned all by himself. The guy even fabricated his exhaust from the headers-back in his own backyard, freaking maniac. It sounds incredible

The way the car sits now is most likely how it will remain for a while. It has a really nice Flowmaster exhaust, new catted H pipe and it sounds exactly like a proper 302 should. Only thing I'd like to do is get a short shifter in there and then bring it back to life cosmetically (meaning new headlights, get the little surface rust taken care of, polish the pony wheels).

Performance wise it's fine for me, now. I'm sure I'll get the itch to do something to it eventually but for now it's more than what I'm used to in the Taurus

I say lose the hood (sell it, though!) and get a cleaner stock one! Otherwise, nice wheels.
