Bosch Platinum+4 Users ???

Any positive experiences w/this product?

If so, please list the year/make/model of the car.

I'm curious as I've heard VERY mixed reviews.

Price is $5.99/plug, w/$10 gift card offer for every 4 you buy.

Thanks.

I haven't used the +4 but I've used Bosch regular plugs they are TURDS. I will NEVER EVER go with a Bosch plug. I had a set regular Bosch in my pickup about 20-30 k before I sold it(94 Dodge Ram 1/2 ton 4x4) the damn plugs I had to replace at about 1/2 the time you normally should(60 k). Now all I use is NGK. I use NGK in my snowmobile,4-wheeler, trucks, cars, everything.

BTW my dad(who works at Honda's engine plant) told me at one time Bosch used to be a supplier to Honda of America but their quality was so shitty they kicked them out. the only reason Honda uses Denso vs NGK now on plugs is due to price. Honda didn't have "bitter feelings" leaving NGK. just when the contract was up NGK and Denso said "we'll meet NGK's price and provide the same or better quality."

the other thing with those +4s you can't gap em. I know guys who drop them into cars. but YOU SHOULD ALWAYS gap plugs according to the motor requirement. you get best a better spark this way.

They come pre gapped so there's no guess work in gapping them.

2000 300M 40K miles no problems, & a little better gas milage.
I had them in one of my old Explorers, but they didn't like that engine.. I got misfires. Switched to standard double platinum's & those were way better.

I wouldn't buy them for Honda engines. Honda engines work better with other plugs.

Guess its a crap shoot then. People have told me to stay away from Bosch.

I'll just go w/NGK Coppers and Bosch Wires.

Does anyone know where I can find NGK Copper V-Power Plugs?

When I was last in the dealership I asked them to install some Platinum-4's I had recently purchased and the service manager strongly recommended against it, apparently there has been a lot of problems with honda engines and those plugs...
