The bonfire Cherokee complication problem

I got a 2001 Cherokee classic and when I'm turning it if I am over turning the steering wheel it makes a rubbing noise. My friend told me that it just happens on "older" Cars that when you over steer it makes a noise in the u joints like that and like the bearings are grinding. Is that normal for an older 4x4 jeep Cherokee classic or an older car in general? Let me know what you think

Why not join a Cherokee forum and ask there? Not that nobody here can't help you, just that you'll probably find better answers or more specific ones on a forum more specific to your own vehicle.
