Currently own a 01 CL/P and thinking my next car may be a 325. Is there any way I can rent one for a week to decide if I want to buy one? A ten minute test drive form my dealer isn't enough time to do an adequate comparison and get real experience with the car.

there is a local bmw dealership here that i have heard gives out certain cars for a day.

personally I agree with you, a 10 minute test drive doesnt mean anything to me either.

A day, I could do, just drive the whole day.

well i had a 325 before i got the CL, the 325 is great to drive in, but it has no power even compared to the CLP, and it was horrible in the snow. But I've heard that if u throw on snow tires, the car will drive great in the snow. I personally hated the 325. Interior was tight too.. I know there are places in NYC where they let u rent nice cars(bmws, lexus, mercedes,etc) for a day or weekends.

Actually 2 minutes and 3 miles was all I needed to buy my CL-S. I didn't even go for the test drive until the paperwork was well in progress and that was another CL-S because mine was being delivered a week later. So basically I drove it to be sure I didn't hate it.

After mine arrive new and still in wraps, I did a courtesy drive to make sure it ran.
