Blacked out bumper trend

Am I the only on that hates the blacked out bumper trend. Audi barely pulled it off, Lexus is doing a good job but everyone just sucks.

I think they do it for the "diffuser" look. But I hate black plastic on bumpers. Body color throughout just looks so much better.

Confused. The OP questioned the black bumper trend, the RCF and RS5 got posted, which don't have black bumpers but black grills.

Im going to assume OP meant the giant black grill trend.
