For some reason I thought you had a new gen charger, clearly the wrong person.

My apologies for the whole post, I wasn't really thinking when I was writing the post.

That is one of the cleanest 5 series I've seen.

I love shot #2.

Lip spoiler is my 2nd favorite mod, after the wheels. 3D Design makes some legit stuff!!

Their F10 aero is amazing!

I also, really like the f10.

The e60, imo, does not fit in to the evolutionary design of the 5.

Kind of like the 2nd,3rd and 5th gen prelude look alike and follow an evolution, and then you have the steaming pile of 4th gen that so far from the prelude in and out...why bother

Plenty of people love the e60...so its just my opinion.
LOL, I'll have to step in a defend the e60 as I've just purchased a 550i Sport a short while ago. Yeah, it doesn't quite fit into the design timeline, but it's still a stunning looking car in my opinion. The new F10 is okay, but the same sausage, different lengths thing doesn't work for me when your $70K F10 looks like a $35K E90 from a distance. Or worse yet, your $100K F01 SWB looks like an $50K F10 from a distance. At least from a distance, you KNEW that E60 was an E60. It was the best-selling 5 series for some reason, eh?

By the way, the car's owner in the OP's post should've stuck with a Lexus if he wanted to VIP something...

I have to admit it was the Bangle-era, and especially the E60, that attracted me to BMW. For the most part, the styling to that point had been a bit to staid for my tastes (the M1, Z8, and the E46, notwithstanding).

Now that would have been "SAFE." I'm glad he did something different!

Hahah never heard that saying before. Eh, Lexus is overdone. Wanted something different.

I now own 3 sets of side skirts! I'm happiest with these so far.

While I would never do this to my car, I respect the work and it looks nice for a VIP style. The only thing I would change, think someone else mentioned it too, would be the exhaust. I agree with not doing an M5 look a like quad exhaust but maybe beef those tips up, they look so lost.

The reason why it sold well because it is a BMW. that s all it is. You can make the 5 series look like a Camry and it will still sell.

That doesn't explain why it sold BETTER.
