So I found a 2005 Acura TL with navi and 67k miles in SF. Price is $14800. Is that good? Two owners, has a couple scratches on bumper and a tiny dent, needs new tires. All service records from Acura dealer are available.

Someday, an RS6 Avant+
OP: You should try expanding to Oregon or Nevada. Or is it tough to get there in your current situation?

Found it on Craigslist. The guy was selling it because he's leaving to go back to Thailand next month. He was living here for two years to get his masters. He listed it for 21k but I was able to talk him down to 17.9k. It still has extended warranty on it!

Well guys, I bought the 05 TL I mentioned in previous posts. Paid 14.2k for it which I think is a steal. Now back to the car. All I can say is damn, technology overload. I can't stop smiling. My 2g TL is like from the caveman era compared to this. All those lights at night is crazy. I did notice that some of my interior lights are out. Can someone please post a picture with everything that's supposed light up.
I'll post pics tmrw.

Congrats on the 3G TL!
BTW, an alternative to the tape deck iPod adapter is something more direct that allows you to skip tracks through the steering wheel like this: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-audio-bluetooth-electronics-navigation-94/i-160-usa-spec-install-633080/

So now my cousin is looking to get rid of his mini cooper-s and replacing it with a TL, TSX, or G35. Manual trans is ok. He's pretty much looking at the same cars I did. If anyone finds a good deal, post it here.

Hey I just wanted to put my input since I work on these cars and I have done a lot of research on them. It depends what you are looking for first of all. If you are like me and can't sacrifice style and quality then the 3G TL is the best you are going to get for 16K. Plus the TL is among the most reliable and cheapest to maintain in it's class. The G35 is an amazing car and out performs the TL in every category, but unless you get the new body style the interior is cheap and also the G35 is a huge gas guzzler and it is not as reliable as the TL. The Lexus IS250 is also a good choice but it is not as powerful as the TL and is very costly to repair and maintain. Subaru is a great car also. Handles better than the TL but its not as refined. the Audi A4 is also a great choice. the Audi handles great, it has a nice interior, but it is expensice to repair, and it is not as roomy as others in its class. Also the BMW 330i, or 530i is a great choice to. If you don't mind a car that cost a lot to repair when something breaks then this is a good choice. BMW's are pretty reliable. and once you drive a BMW it's hard to find another car that is as fun to drive. Unless you are looking for serious HP and performance, the 3G TL is a great choice because it is balanced with having decent HP, amazing interior, sporty suspension and reliable. I own a 3G TL and I love it, but if I had to choose another car I would go with BMW. I you don't mind a cheap interior but want a car that performs like a super car, then get the Lancer Evolution.

Congrats!
I also have a 2005 TL and love driving it, a 67K miles and been pretty reliable. The exterior is NBP, but my interior is Camel the same as yours.
Anyway, enjoy the new ride. Sounds like you got a great deal on it!
