Garmin's are supposed to be the best, since her car has bluetooth already get the highest end garmin without bluetooth.
I need a navi also, but I'm getting a stand alone hard drive one that mounts in the trunk that's connected to a rearview mirror monitor.

I've used Garmin Mobile on my cell phone for a couple years. It's got voice commands and everything, only downside is that the display is only as big as your cell phone's screen. It costs $9.95 a month or free if you know where to look. Other then that any Garmin is recommended.

Which is the easiest to use, would you say? My mom is kicking herself for not getting navigation from the factory, and really does need a portable-she's just electronic retarded

I bought the Garmin c330 Street Pilot and absolutely love it. I travel to a lot of different cities and I take it with me to use in the rental car.

It is by no means a fancy model, but it has a stone simple interface, was cheap, and works like a champ.

Garmin FTW!

I rented one for my rental car, I loved this thing outside of my TL's navi.
