I think the interior on the new S3 they are proposing looks better. that may change your mind. There was a pic of the new S3 on the forums. I did a search but couldn't find it.

For under $30K, I'd say the TSX is the best (not just because I own one). I also give a to the Accord with navi.
I completely agree with the "cheap" feel in the mazda 6. I disagree with comparing the TSX to the LS430, with the semi-aniline leather option the LS430 has the NICEST leather in a car under $100k - IMO. Though I see what you mean comparing the TSX to the mazda 6, its a different league of interior quality.

I also would vote TSX in the under $30k - its one of the primary reason's I bought one. I also have an accord ex w/leather(both cars are 04's) and it doesn't feel as nice as the TSX and its definately not aging as well.

although my car does not have navi, i am very pleased with the interior. the tsx feels very solid, i have no rattles whatsoever. the mazda's interior looks nice in the photos, but i assure you it feels very cheap and flimsy once you actually get in the car.

What are you talking about?

A A3 with DSG and leather is $29,100, already more than a TSX with Nav.
Add the premium package, bluetooth, XM and Navi and the total is $33,050.
Love to see where your getting your numbers.

Heh

Yeah dom I laughed at that too. A loaded A3 is gonna be my wife's new car. Completely loaded every option is 36,000. And that's the 2.0T.

It's a VERY nice car though, I'm a tiny little bit jealous. I'm scared to chip it though - I can imagine my wife this May hurtling down the road with a post-partum grin on her face and my newborn daughter in the back seat...

You can still chip it for your use. They have settings where you can switch it back to stock.

And even if you chip it using the Neuspeed Engine Management or another one, if it's gonna be for daily driving, you don't have to go too aggressive.

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...light=neuspeed

When i priced one online it came to a tad over $34K I'd so want to get the 2.0T. I wish the 6cyl version came in manual. too bad it doesn't

Just crazy how much audi are now. I got mine fully loaded for 31k (sticker was 33,500).

Even though the 2.0t is a bad ass engine. 34k is just expensive for a FWD small car, but i still love it.

LOL

I did NOT need to know that.

We just found out the car that my Credit Union's service found for us has been dealer traded farther away and they won't transport it for free, so we're going to have to order.

So looks like March for the Missus...

Even though I don't care for the exterior of the new Jetta, the interior is simply amazing in it's price range. Even the wood is real and the leather and materials is top notch.

My vote goes to the Jetta.

The last time I sat in a TSX was the 04 model and the feel of the "leather" was borderline pathetic. Since then I have had 0 desire to get back into one.

I actually think it compares favorably with the one in the CTS - not that the CTS sets the bar.
