Was looking into cars all weekend and came across a 2004 S500 4matc (black exterior) with 67,000. They are selling it for $35,000.....

is that a good deal on Mercedes-Benz? I have a 2004 S430 4matic which purchased for $74,000 back in January 2004.

Any Mercedes-Benz experts here or any inputs?

Well, my brother and I bought the silver one for my dad as a present back in 2004, but now I am tired of the s/c'd TL and wants a benz

 

Never was a fan of mercedes but that seems like a decent price. Mileage a little on the high side for an 04? Doesn't seem too bad though.

You can find a TON more S430/S500's with less miles for better deals in my opinion.

Find a CPO merc. I have been a S class Fan/Freak since 99. I am not sure if that one has Airamatic, but it does have a tendency of fucking up. If the Airamatic does leak then u are fucked and its going ot cost you$$$.

Save up a little for and get a CPO S500. Within 2 to 3 years I want to purchase a 2006 S500.

 

Way too expensive, IMO... $29,995 sounds like an offer your should make...

Nice Benz! Only thing I would worry is the reliability and expensive maintenance on the car.

My folks used to have an ML320 which was actually had no problems, but the maintenance was always expensive I think it was like almost 700 dollars for every 10K maintenance.

It's a hot car, but i cant justify spending that much money on a vehicle with that many miles. Although high mileage on cars these days doesnt really mean much, i still wouldnt do it.
