Nice!

However, I can't see Acura doing anything until he hits 500K miles.

300K in an 05 is insane.

Lets assume he got the max for mpg (24) and gas averages at $3.00 a gallon, he spent $37500 just in gas over the last 5 years.

I'm hoping to get at least 200K out of my current car. That will probably come at some point next year.

Yea hindsight i probably should have bought a new car but i really didnt want another car payment for a while. Plus i wanted to do it because for so many years every one said it couldnt be done.

Coincidentally, a coworker showed me a letter from a customer today.

Her son's Accent turned 300k miles. I was shocked.

Who keeps Accents around for 300k miles? They are practically dispensable.

How about 800,000 as of June 09 on an 03 Hybrid?

That's about 133K per year.

Really? My dad is looking for a new car, since his 2002 Lexus GS 300 has over 200,000 miles and is becoming a pain to take care of. Not to mention it handles like crap now. He is looking into getting a 2g RL since he drives something like 60 miles a day for work. Thats awesome.

Strange, very strange... yet fascinating.

As many times as I've seen that thing, I still can't figure out what's going on and I stare at it with every post. I keep saying to myself, "An Asian guy with banana hair is shooting banana boogers onto a girl sitting down, then flies away laughing on an imaginary chair while flapping his banana fingers... maybe it's an Asian Dole fruit ad because I see the word 'DOLE' in the end?"... and I'm even more confused. Many is the night I have pondered this avatar and, as a result, I'm walking a fine line between reality and insanity...
