Awesome wheels on a Lexus IS...

Went over to Chipotle for lunch today over in Pasadena. After lunch we headed back to the car and in the parking lot there was an IS that was dropped and had these awesome looking matte black finish wheels. The center cap appeared to have the number 5 in it, but I couldn't tell. There were no other markings on the rim.

What kind of rims are they?

I'm sorry about the poor pic, but it's best I could do off my windows mobile phone.

They look decent...nothing jaw dropping. I think they're powder-coated sport wheels that are optional on the IS

I wish I had a better picture of them. They looked really sporty, the blurriness of the picture doesn't do them justice.

I'll look up the stock wheels to see what I find.

I just went through the list of wheels on the '08 model and they aren't any of those. I can't speak for the previous year models.

They had very sharp lines to them, and the spokes met up very nicely with the stud openings.

They also look like those wheels on that funky looking concept IS with the matte black finish, triangle exhaust and wack bodykit....

They are the FIVE:AD S5:F wheels by Five Axis Design, the company that did the Five Axis IS-F concept.

I like the IS. Not sure about the wheels in that matte black color though.

Cool

They look OK. I think the best wheels are made by HRE. As long as you have a spare testicle you're willing to part with.
