Average car loan and monthly payment?

Anyone have any statistics on what the avarage car loan and terms of the average loan are?

Curious is all...

From the Fed. Not sure if it's what you're looking for, but it does give a historic breakdown of the average rates on new/used car loans & average terms(easy to figure payt from that, etc).

The data is right there...

I figured it'd be over 20K with a 60+ month term... Interesting to see when the rates were really low, people were financing pratically the whole cost of the car (damn big 3 zero percent incentives)... Some quarters were over 27k!!!

Notice how LTV moves around in times when there are big rebates. It's all smoke & mirrors.

Some good data there on credit cards too.
