I was never a big Audi fan.
After seeing the lineup at the auto show...I was very impressed very the new Q5 and TTS. With a stunning design, the level of attention to detail was just unmatched by comparable models by MB or BMW. The leather in the TTS was color matching with excellent quality and it was extremely comfortable. Everything was very impressive overall.

Although I'm not a fan of the TT lineup...I thought the TTS was very cool...and then they bring a RS version of it! I'm happy to know they are putting a 5 cylinder turbo into it...The 5 cylinder turbo was a big success for Audi in the past and I'm glad it's back on the table!

Those seats look great. I bet they hold you tighter than your first prom date (or loose, as the case may be).

I would still take the Cayman S over that, even if it is faster. I have always liked the TTs looks, and this version is definitely the hotest, but it's still no contest to the Caymans looks IMO.

From reading the article the drive my wire steering seems meh.

I really don't like things that take away road/tire feel especially in a "sports" car.

Those seats looks awesome and very much like the RS4 seats. Which means they probably won't make it to the U.S.. IIRC, the seats don't meat the U.S. laws for side bolster support or some stupid crap like that.

I'd be all over that thing if it was available in stick....Even though the DSG is one heck of a great transmission, there is no substitute for 3 pedals..
[edit] I was referring to the TTS....I don't want no 5 cylinder, even if it has 335 HP

Sat in an Audi TT at the dealer the other day. Not sure which model. It was very hot though. I've always loved the cars, but was never a fan of the 1.8t engine. Now that they have the 2.0t engine, I may have to take another look. Problem is that they are overpriced for what they are (IMO)...

Most Audis are, but they're great if you're ever in the used car market as they don't hold value for shit. Don't get me wrong, I love Audis but the new ones are way too expensive for what you get.

The TTRS is seriously money on style and performance. I like all the current TT models, but a bargain they are not. That one would likely be $55-60k if it came to the U.S.

Some are.. some aren't. We bought the wife's B7 2.0t A4 brand new and felt it was priced very competitively against other cars we were comparing it to. We were also able to negotiate a great price. When we traded that in for her A6, we got that used, and saved about 50%.

So it depends what model you're looking at... but yeah, used will always be a better bang for the buck. That goes for any car though... not just Audi's...

The newer Audi's I feel are overpriced, but the price we paid for our B7 was very reasonable compared to if we had purchased a BMW with the same options.

Buying used is the smart way to go with any car purchase. I just love the idea of being the only one to ever own my car...

, quite true for almost all Audi's they have alot of depreciation, German cars in general depreciate faster. I also like being the only one to own a vehicle.
