Audi Tt Question

i know i know, but too lazy to register and ask in TT's forum

my friend bought an used TT.. it's a one cute little car. but we can't figure out what this button is for! it's the button in the middle-bottom. there are three buttons.. left one is gas i believe and right one is trunk. we just can't figure out what the middle button is for. it has a car shape to it with some air coming into the car. it doesn't even light up or go down when i press it so i dont think it's fresh/inside air button. so do any of you know?

Never sat in one myself, but from your description it sounds like the "air cycle button" ( dunno if thats what its called ) which basically gives you the option to pull fresh air into the cabin ( from outside ) or to cycle the same air throughout the car so the A/C doesnt have to work so hard.

It took me a while to figure out why hot air was always cycling through my car... If you leave your heat settings up.. your car will naturally cycle warm air from the engine.

Its to disable the motion sensor inside the car, once the alarm is armed.......

^^^Your right.

Here's an article about the TT and there's a short video about the motion alarm sensor: http://www.cars.com/carsapp/national..._features.tmpl
