Audi A4

Sorry guys. I don't think I will be able to get a CL-S. If I do get one, that means I won't be able to get my motorcycle. I went to go look at the A4 today. Those are nice. The interior is a lot nicer than the CL. I'm looking at the cheapest one, the 1.8 A4 front wheel drive. Just want to know what you guys think.

Well were all a little slighted towards Acura but good luck with whatever decision you make. I drove the A4, just got steered away from all of the maintenance issues.

You'll have a lot less Worries and Problems with the Acura, but it's your decision. Audi's are good cars, just have their weaknesses like most cars do.

If you're getting a new one, you pay for nothing except gas and tires for 4 years/50,000 miles. Clutch and brakes are covered as well. I'm getting one and I'm not too worried .

You can easily get a CL-P for $27,000. Give the CL-P some thought.

It has a more luxurious/less sporty interior than the CL-S. Plus you will save at least $2,000.

First things first ... I don't necessarily agree with your assessment of interiors but to each his own. Second, why the f*** would you care what a CL-S owner thinks? Would my opinion hold any sway with your decision? If so, then I say don't do it ... get an Acura. If not, then knock yourself out ... suggest you go to www.iloveaudi.com.

Enjoy

It really depends on just how much your willing to spend. I know a lot about A4s. My sister has one (2.8, auto, fwd, sport package) and I basically drove it for a year before getting the CL. I personally love it. It looks great, the interior is beautiful, good power either with the 1.8 T or 2.8. If you get the Turbo, mods are cheap, easy, and effective. I love the steering on it to. And whats this talk about Audi service? Audi is ridiculous with the stuff they do for you. Everything (I mean everything) is paid for. All you gotta do is buy gas. Whenever we take it to the dealer for service or whatever, they check and inspect anything we mention. Every complaint is taken care of, no questions asked. They change your oil, all types of fluids, most of the time without you even requesting it! Like last time we took it in, they changed the windsheild wiper blades, cause they realized (even though we didn't) that they were old. They also wash your car (I know that most dealers do this)and get this, sometimes even fill your tank. So great service from Audi. Maybe I'm just saying this cause my CL is still almost brand new, and I haven't had an experience with Acura service. Love Audis, love Acuras.
Oh ya, to answer the question, you can't go wrong either way. It would be a tough choice between a 2.8 and a Type S, but I'd end up getting the Type S. So easy choice between a 1.8T and a CL-S. Get the Acura!

Your joke went way over my head.

1. Pretend I'm dense -- explain please?

All I know is my sister gets her service for free, the guys are like Jens, and the car runs great. A4/2.8

When I try a new dealer for some work at 1 year, I may finally be in luck (I'll see).

My car has been great, but Keyes, at the last service and parts install did the following:

Dinged my hood -- now fixed via Dent Wizards.
Left off all kinds of parts on the AEM install.
Over tightened the header nuts -- looks like they rounded the locking nut edges off with pliers.
Had sways installed -- they were so loose that they were rattling and I had a "John Doe" test drove your car.

I think you get to play with Jens -- you are spoiled
