i had those issues of sport compact car.....
but i remember it from before it was featured in their street car challenge or whatever...
wasn't it dual transmission too or something, where they could put one in drive and one in reverse to do those crazy burnouts. Also i think it ran on methanol or something.....which they said elminated the need for intercoolers.

I remember reading that issue over and over. I thought it was dual-engined or something, but dual transmission sounds more realistic. That's awesome though drive for the front wheels, reverse for the wheels; punch it, and make a disgusting mountain of smoke w/ the weirdest damn tire marks ever seen.
0-60 was something like, 3.7 or some crap.

on one the rear wheels one on the front making it 4wd......
and in the ebay thing they said 0-60 in 3.33 sec
i'm very curious if someone will actually pay 19k for that car. no bids so far..... i'd just want to drive it like once, and maybe race a few porsche's and mustang's while i'm at it.

I'm not too into the idea of a twin engined car (call me a traditionalist ) but that burnout pic is sick:

I remember reading the issues of SCC. Sick car. I'm surprised that auction though, b/c they have very, very little details about the car. They don't talk about the condition it's in, the reliability of the setup, nothing. Just some pics from the photoshoot, magazine spreads, and the video.
Personally, I wouldn't pay $19k for that car to begin with... and I definitely wouldn't pay it without any of that information posted on the auction....
