Anyone know anything about these headlights?

Disclaimer: this is for a Jeep, fwiw

My wife was in a fender-bender a few days back & we have to replace a headlight (the whole assembly, not just the bulb). To replace the exact one that's in there requires paying Jeep $320. Does anyone know much about these lights? I don't know much about these things, so any expert advice would help.

yeah...without making her Jeep look ghetto, though. Is this a different kind of light altogether?

Hmm... I'm personally not crazy about the seller's feedback rating. 56 negative feedback ratings? And as far as the quality goes, it's a toss up. Worst-case scenario: either the headlights don't fit (and you send them back or modify them) or they aren't sealed properly and end up fogging up after 2 months (and you have to break the seal, clean the inside, then re-seal the assembly).

Also, one other thing to be wary of on ebay is the long-term feedback. You'll never see it on ebay. Everyone might have left positive feedback one day, and had the product break a week later.

I personally wouldn't do it. $110 in savings isn't really worth it to me for some no-name part. A better option is finding an OEM replacement via ebay, wholesale parts dealers, or other sites (like the Jeep equivalent of HondaAcuraWorld).
