Anyone know anything about these headlights?
Anyone know anything about these headlights?
Disclaimer: this is for a Jeep, fwiw
My wife was in a fender-bender a few days back & we have to replace a headlight (the whole assembly, not just the bulb). To replace the exact one that's in there requires paying Jeep $320.
Does anyone know much about these lights? I don't know much about these things, so any expert advice would help.

Hmm... I'm personally not crazy about the seller's feedback rating. 56 negative feedback ratings? And as far as the quality goes, it's a toss up. Worst-case scenario: either the headlights don't fit (and you send them back or modify them) or they aren't sealed properly and end up fogging up after 2 months (and you have to break the seal, clean the inside, then re-seal the assembly).
Also, one other thing to be wary of on ebay is the long-term feedback. You'll never see it on ebay. Everyone might have left positive feedback one day, and had the product break a week later.
I personally wouldn't do it. $110 in savings isn't really worth it to me for some no-name part. A better option is finding an OEM replacement via ebay, wholesale parts dealers, or other sites (like the Jeep equivalent of HondaAcuraWorld).
