My friend had intake, hks exhaust and eibach springs on his 06 fx35.

It was very loud and not much. And the ride was fking horrible.
when he bought it brand new, everything was great. Its a pretty good suv for what it is.

Spent ur money on ur TLS man!

Trust me.. if you just put the lowering springs with the stock shocks, you will hate the damn ride. And I don't think the springs do any good on its handling as it could not keep up with my 3G TL with RSB at all.

Just have fun with it as stock! Again, it's a great suv as stock! I mean what's the point of "fast" SUV unless you have so much money to spend on every car you have.

I have a 06 RWD Sport. I picked it up right when it hit the showroom.

I have springs, lower tie bars, strut tower brace, rear sway bar from AWD model, intake, plenum spacer, y-pipe, mid-pipe.

There are 2 options for springs: Eibach & H&R. Eibach are stiffer than H&R (100% consensus from the FX crowd). H&R is the same stiffness as sport. I've had my springs on for about 4 years. There are coilover options for FX too now.

My car still feel the same to me... It's definitely stiffer than your average car. Car feels really great with some of the suspension pieces I have. The biggest difference I noticed was with the strut tower brace. Adding springs just made the car look less like a lifted truck. I'm not sure if I can say it improved my handling with springs.

Actually most members at the FX forum find the H&R springs to give a better ride (vs stock)

^ Got it.

Probably that's why my friend's car was so fked up. He should have gone with H&R instead of Eibach.

The breaking of the springs is probably one of those stories that gets exaggerated, and is also based on the climate of the area (of the reported cases), perhaps areas with extreme or colder climates (?)

THAT said, if I can re-do it, I'd get H&R's.
