The W140 S-class was a beast...incredibly over engineered, has great road presence, and tons of high-tech features. Would love to buy one some day.
No, it's not the sportiest car by any means; I just have a love for this big bad land barges. Would be a great everyday car (except for parking, gas, etc)
But for a sports car, it'd have to be a Porsche Carrera 4S. Love Porsches.

I usually don't go for the high priced supercars anyway. I'd like a more achievable goal... While I'd love a 1973 911 RS, I don't ever think I'll be in a position to buy a car that's worth more than my first house
