Here's a car at the dealer auctions that I found:
'08 with 32k miles. Nav/Sport/6MT

Car will need tires, and the only paintwork done is front and rear bumpers painted (most likely from parking scratches), which is common, and not something that concerns me, as a dealer looking to pick a car like this up.
Seller is Infiniti Financial, not the dealer listed on the plate tags. They probably took the car in and put their frames on it before it was picked up by the bank.

First off, the Camaro/Mustang and G37 are apples and oranges. Do you want American muscle or a sport luxury coupe with some nice pick up?
Secondly, I am completely against buying a first year model of a new generation. 2008 is when they redesigned the G coupe. If you were looking into a G37, I'd look into at least the 09 or even 2010 when they upgraded the Nav and Tech package. Do some research on a few Infiniti forums before you go spending 30k on it.
Lastly, you can get a brand new Camaro/Mustang for almost the price of a used G37. If I was in your shoes, and looking around the 30k mark, it's almost a no brainer to go new.
Good luck and if you have any questions regarding the G, let me know.

Sometimes you have to just open your search a little to find that car that fits.

When I was looking I really wanted the G37 6mt, but prices were so much for a used 08. I mean $32K for a car with 30K miles? That was crazy & out of my price range. I got my srt8 for much much much less with 29K. I wasn't looking for them, just happened to see it at a ford dealer that I went to test drive the mustang & a G35 they had.

No clue, a lot of them are coming off lease and are flooding the market. They did sell in the 40k range new though.
When are you getting a new car and what are you looking at? I messaged you no response

Looking at the 5.0 Mustang
G37 Coupe.
135 BMW.
I'll probably look at the '13 Gen Coupe too.
Not sure what else there is at this point.

thanks for the new advice guys. At this point, I decided I'm not quite ready to give up the luxury that an infiniti would offer, so I guess the mustang is out. I think I figured out one reason carmax was so high. They are charging 3 grand extra for the navi as a g37 there with the same miles and model year is 26,999. Funny, because at the infiniti dealer I see the navi package only adds 1800.
Great advice on the model year as well, I didn't realize 08 was the the first year of the newer body style and I usually try to avoid first year models as well.
So now my search is 09 or newer, but finding one with a manual is virtually impossible. I may give up and consider a sedan if automatics are my only choices.
I really don't want to go new because of that immediate depreciation hit it takes. All of my cars except for two have been new, and each time I wasn't happy with the big hit it took in depreciation; seems like ill get a lot more for my money going used.

Drove a 6MT 2SS Vert today.
I've officially changed my opinion on the Camaro. Very nice and well built car. Visibility out isn't really that bad at all once you get the seat positioned. I also think the interior, especially materials, is nicer than the 5.0 Mustang. The car felt tight and well put together. Well done for the bow tie boys!
