Any 1st Gen Miata owners here?
I'm looking for a first gen Miata for the wifey as a surprise gift. It'll be a 3rd "fun" car so I don't care about high miles. It has to be an auto b/c she can't drive a stick and does not want to learn
Any suggestions on where to look or what to look for? I've been on ebay, craigslist, and autotrader and the pickings are slim, especially for the automatic. I'd like to stay around 2K. I'm more concerned with the body than the interior or the mechanics b/c I have a buddy who owns a couple of repair shops so I can get mechanical work done with him.
TIA

Auto traitor
Ebay
1st and 2nd Gen autos were shared with a truck and are sucktastic. 3rd gen (6 spd) is much nicer (but out of your price point).
