Whats up with RDX owners?

Are used prices insane up there too? I'd assume you could get a decent amount back from the Focus.

I'd say stock v stock, the BRZ would be more nimble/fun car. Haven't driven either in modified form, so can't comment there.

I'd keep the Focus over a BRZ. JMO.

If you toss a supercharger on the BRZ, it's not a bad daily. They handle great. But I'd have a hard time giving up something with a hatch unless the money really made sense.

The hatch on the Focus is great, but I never use it. Ditto the back seat. Once the Focus is parted and sold, I should be about $5-6K ahead. That's handy for a house down payment, or a Mitsubishi Pajero for example.
Like I said, it's a new experience. The majority of my mileage these days is driving for fun, the rest is getting groceries or visiting my mom. My commute is 0, and my car doesn't need to carry much besides me and one other person sometimes. I'll miss boost and the torque that comes with it, but as my first RWD and something that's supposed to handle great, this should be fun in a different way than the Focus is fun.

That's gonna be a fun ride for you! All the best luck with it. I was just watching the new GR86 introduction video on YouTube yesterday. I like it a lot.

Like you wish you had a car filled with friends in the rear seats and hatch.
We're here for you, man. Keep your head up.

Who needs to see friends? All of my friends are from the internet anyway.

I run a canyon/track group and obviously run an automotive related business so I know a big pool of car guys here in Socal. 90% of Focus/Fiesta ST buddies from 3 years ago have moved on from the platform due to engine and all kinds of failures. 90% of 86/BRZ guys still have the car enjoying it dailying/canyon driving and most importantly track driving.
I would sell the FoST for a good money and keep the BRZ. You don't need more power for it, just need sticky tires and a good alignment. If you do want more power, E85 flex fuel ecutek tune. That's all it needs.
