i actually get really annoyed that my CLS doesnt have a compass in the car. But, i guess the navi would have it.
I will have to price out what I want individually.
I really want (need) bluetooth. I use the phone a lot for work.

i can't believe I am asking BMW questions here but e90post always seems to have the "it's a bmw" or "if asking you're the price you shouldnt be here" trolls pop up in every thread.

I'll try to post up some pics this week...although thinking about it, whatever I post, Jesal will probably say the OEM nav looks better

Just want to share my $0.02.
AFAIK, 05-06 M3 has Competition Package suspension standard from the factory and this suspension is indeed softer than the older M3. This suspension was made available partially to satisfy American customers who complain that M3 is too stiff.
The clunk you hear on the rear end is also standard on all M3. As you adapt to the car, though, the noise will go away. As long as your coordination clutch-gas-shifter is acceptable to the car, it will not make the clunking noise.
I don't daily drive my M3 but it's still pretty driveable for everyday use. It's indeed stiff and noisy but not that bad.

Isn't the comp pack suspension even tighter?
so the 05's and 06's regular M3's all had the revised suspensions? they ride sooo much better than the 04's.

picus, just wondering how much did you pay your car?Trying to compare canadian costs and options?

I got Nav, sport, auto w/paddle, ca, logic 7. Price before tax was 60,950, minus $2,700 discount, then tax. Total was like 66.5k. Remember though, I ordered in Spet 2006, which was the month it came out. Option prices have changed and you can get better discounts now.

Was looking at e350 4mat and the 535xi... just realized a 335xi coupe existed and more recently, an s5. I've almost abandoned continuing looking for a 4 door awd since I see appealing awd coupes now.
Have seen both in person at the dealership already. s5 is far sexier than the 335xi, but comes in at 8-9k more. Dismissing that difference for a second -- what's your take on either of those.
You helped me pick my last car -- you may as well pick my next. lol

Honestly, I think you would find the 335xi more entertaining than a full size sedan. The only reason to get a 535 imo, is if you have kids or like shuttling your friends around. And its not like people can't fit in the back of the coupe.
The S5 is nicer looking inside and out than the 335, imho. Not to mention a more exclusive car.
But end of the day it is more expensive to the degree in which you equip the 335. Also the gas mileage is awful for a car that is fast, but not really much faster than the 335 stock (chipped forget about it).
Are you leasing again? If so, one quote from the Audi dealer and you'll be running back to BMW at full speed ahead.
There is actually a guy on one of the BMW boards, who had an 06 M5....and replaced it with a 335xi and loves it.
For me....as a gift - S5
If I'm paying for it - 335xi

Even the optional 18in wheel upgrade with the Xi Sport package are staggered.
But also don't forget that the Xi rides slighter higher than the standard RWD model...more wheel gap. The car can be lowered though if one chooses to do so without an issue.

Go the ED route and save some money.
My wife's 335i costed me $41590 (not include tax, tag...)
Auto, sports, prem, and nav.
I had my BMWCCA rebate of $1k. So in the end with tax, tag it costed me $44k.
Never pay more than $800 over ED invoice.

Need to wait until E90 M3 is open for ED. This is frustrating.

You wont get any pity from us.
Great deal on your wifes car! I looked into ED but didnt want to wait that long to get the car. Plus couldnt get anyone to fork over the money to go with me.
I plan to do it someday though.
