Almost 10 years later...

And I finally get a no front license plate ticket here in California.

Inform a noob how I fix this (other than attach the plate)? Do I mail anything? I know I get it signed off at my local PD, right?

No. It's a job I would never enjoy probably.

I have many LEO friends but I'm not one to ask them to sign off on a ticket I received (my best friend insisted he'll just sign it, but I refused), I guess I have too much of a moral/ethical heart.

Do I mail the ticket anywhere?

CHP can also sign off on the license plate fix-it if it has a facility more convenient to you than the local PD.

^^^^what they said. Its really easy.... they say to not take off the front plate again, but are there any harsh repercussions for repeat offenses? How about if its the same ticket on a different car?

i've got it several times...same price everytime. put the plate on, take it to local pd, pay ten bucks, get it signed off. last time i did it put the plate back on , took a pic, and sent it to the designated court along with 10 dollar check and was done with it. (pic need to show the date)

10 buck fine we don't have "fix it" tickets they just ticket you like if you got Illegal tint until you either take it down or sell the car.
my buddy had a illegal pipe/sound on his Mustang cut off the cat plus stright piped it. i bet once every 2 weeks he'd get a ticket. he did that for like a year. then he finally sold it. I told him to put a high flow cat plus a cat back system on it if he's worried about horsepower. i was in the car probably 8-10 times when he got his exhaust sound violation.

8-10 exhaust violations in a year? There's like a billion legal high-flow cat/cat back exhausts made for Mustangs.

I've never met your buddy but I'm gonna guess he wasn't the valedictorian at your local high school.

No. Unincorporated part of Angeles Forest by the CHP.

I was caught going around a corner at 60mph. The police officers and I talked for awhile (about guns & cars, haha). So they let the 20+ speeding ticket go.
