Good luck on your quest.

The blog read very well.
Even if C&D, M/T etc don't respond positively at first, keep at it. Your writing will only improve.

Not sure what the blogspot software allows, but maybe have one or two pictures of the size you chose but then include thumbnails. For all the discussion of the interior, I had no visual evidence.

Still having trouble getting cars to drive but that doesn't mean I lack material to write about. Here's a little opinion piece on alternative energy vehicles. Sorry if it's -tastic.

I truly wish you the best in your pursuit. In my opinion you do have some talent. That said, IMO credentials matter as much or more than the talent aspect for staff writers.

I think that I have read the biographies of some of the car magazine editors and they generally have English, Journalism, and/or Engineering degrees. Things could work out for you but thought this needed to be pointed out.

Thanks, man.

I actually read an article that said education may or may not matter much. Some editors have higher education while others dropped out of college and started working at dealerships (just like me). We shall see...I'm more than willing to take a few courses if it helps my cause but for now, I'm working on chipping away at the armor and seeing where that gets me.

Well now that I'm out of my shit job and feel like a normal human again, I've started writing with a fury. Here's my latest creation, a reflection on the DeLorean and comparing it with the Fisker Karma.

Enjoy.
